What is a Cleanse?

As we move into Summer you may notice your body starts to crave movement and feeling lighter. The longer and hotter summer days push the body to be more active and naturally want a cleaner diet.

Our 1-week Summer detox will help your body to feel lighter, more energized and eliminate symptoms such as: lack of energy, heaviness, trouble sleeping, headaches, gut problems, and others. Just 1 refreshing week of eating healthy plant-based and mostly raw foods can give your body the tune-up it needs.

Why is the cleanse only 1 week?

In summer you're more inclined to move more and eat lighter. For most people, this positively increases their metabolism making it easier to cleanse. As you may not feel the need to ease into the liquid cleanse the menu is lighter but also shorter. As people tend to be busy during the summer months this gives you plenty of time to enjoy summer but also benefit from cleansing.

Why should I detox?

So here is the thing-- the term 'detox' can be a bit misleading in nutrition. The body already has a wonderful and natural detox process. What we are doing is simplifying our diet for a couple of weeks to include lots of nutrient-dense foods that are easy to digest. We are also encouraging you to remove elements that might contribute to inflammation in the body such as alcohol, refined sugar, processed foods, recreational drugs, and trans fats. We do not believe it is starving you at all. You will feel fed and satisfied with this plan. The aim is just to let your body do its natural thing and boost it with lots of healthy and delicious foods.

This 1-week Summer Cleanse has been skillfully designed by Nutritionist Chloé Porter and chef Christian Gentile. Together their expertise comes together to create delicious, nutritious food that is professionally prepared and will have you feeling fed, healthy, and energized.

Is the cleanse vegan?

The 1-week Summer Cleanse is plant-based meaning that all the meals are prepared from vegetables, fruits, legumes, healthy grains, and vegetable-derived fats. Eating plant-based for a couple of weeks can be a great way to simplify your meals and lighten the load on digestion. Eating more plant-based is healthy for the body as well as the environment. For a lot of people, it is hard to learn how to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into their diet. This will give you a large number of recipes to choose from and bring into your everyday life once the detox is over.
